So who says only Oprah can have all the fun.  I have decided that I too can have a list of my favorite things and I have decided to leak my beauty secrets….

For those of you whose New Year’s Resolutions include frequent visits to The Skin Spa listen up, I am about to give you some must haves for 2012! Here are a “few” of Allessia’s Favorite Things. This article will only cover some of my favorite services at The Skin Spa but don’t worry, I said these are a “few” of my favorite things and I plan on disclosing my favorite Must Have products for 2012 next time.

My most recent discovery at the Skin Spa is The Signature Facial. This is a the most amazing service. Your esthetician will not only clean out those dirty pores, get your skin hydrated & glowing but this is the MOST relaxing facial you could possibly experience. This hour and a half facial includes a mini hot stone back massage, a neck/shoulder/hand massage & a lip and eye treatment, not to mention the deep pore facial!! All of this is included for only $125! Why would I ever go back to the basics after experiencing this bliss for such an affordable price.

The Hydrafacial, is another service ranked right up there with the Signature Facial. This service also yields a result of radiant, glowing skin. The Hydrafacial exfoliates, extracts, hydrates and provides antioxidant protection using hydradermabrasion. It is easy, painless and the results…. Well, let’s just say I couldn’t stop looking at myself in the mirror (and that doesn’t happen often).

I have to admit there are certain times during the year when a good chemical peel is in need. I usually feel the urge during winter and right at the end of the summer. In the winter I like the Gloss Peel. This is one of the newer Peels at the Skin Spa. This peel is primarily used for texture and will help with fine lines, wrinkles and pore size. You could really do this peel any time of year, but because of the peeling process I like to choose a time when there aren’t as many social and business events on the schedule. The other peel that I love is the Melanage Mini Peel, for me ideal time is the end of summer. I love this peel because it targets all of that sun damage that I caused because I love sunshine!  This peel could also be performed any time during the year but we all know what happens to our skin by the time September rolls around.

I think I have saved my most favorite service for last- Laser Hair Removal. Let’s be honest here, this is not the most relaxing procedure but the rewards from a finished package and a hair free body says it all. Most of you can relate to that horrid stray hair that pops up on your chin from time to time or the razor burn in those sensitive areas. I for one am not a fan of shaving and if I can do anything to get that off of my morning checklist sign me up!!!!

I could go on and on about the procedures here at the Skin Spa. Not many people can resist being pampered in a spa environment especially knowing that you will also get beneficial results for your skin!  I didn’t even mention the more obvious procedures like Botox and Injectibles- but maybe we can save that for another time. So there you go, Allessia’s Favorite Things 2012: Skin Spa Services. Make sure to check back next month for Allessia’s Favorite Things 2012, Part 2: Skin Spa Products.

When you call to schedule a procedure that is on my list of favorite things mention this blog and we will give you 15% off of that service. I am so positive that you will love them as much as I do. In fact, I would love your feedback.
